How to set up your Spiffy Stores email
Once your domain name has been re-delegated to the Spiffy Stores servers, there are two ways you can use your email accounts. You can either;
- Forward your email to another email address or
- Store your email on the Spiffy Stores servers, and access it using your email program or through web mail
You may also use both a forward and a mailbox for the same email address.
Forwarding your email to another email address
The advantage of using email forwards is that you don't have to change any of your your computer's configuration in order to use an email address that matches your stores' domain.
On the Beta plan, you can request up to 5 email forwards for different email addresses. To forward email to another email address, just send an email to support@spiffystores.com.au with a list of the email addresses you want set up, and the email addresses you want them forwarded to.
We will then set up your email forwards, and let you know when it's been done.
Setting up your forwards is free the first time we set this up for you. Any subsequent changes to this configuration will incur a fee of $15. We are planning on adding functionality to the toolbox in the future so that you are able to manage your email forwards yourself without any extra charges.
Setting Up Email Boxes
The advantage of using email boxes is that you can then send email using your store email address. Emails are delivered to recipients with your store domain in the "from" field.
On the Beta plan, you can request up to 5 mail boxes for your store staff to use. To request an email box, just send an email to support@spiffystores.com.au with a list of the mail boxes you want set up, and the passwords you would like to use for each mail box.
Setting up your mail boxes is free the first time we set this up for you. Any subsequent changes to this configuration will incur a fee of $15. We are planning on adding functionality to the toolbox in the future so that you are able to manage your mail boxes yourself without any extra charges.
When your mailboxes have been set up, we will send you an email with instructions on how to access your email through web mail or through your email program.
